Cricketer
Irfan
Pathan
made
his
debut
in
the
dance
reality
show
Jhalak
Dikhhla
Jaa
8.
With
his
charming
smile
and
simple
yet
impressive
dance
moves
the
cricketer
has
impressed
the
audiences
in
a
very
short
period.
Unfortunately,
Irfan
will
quit
the
show.
A
source
was
quoted
as
saying
by
India-Forums,
"The
cricketer
Irfan
Pathan
has
quit
the
show.
Being
a
cricketer
he
had
to
answer
to
the
call
from
cricket
field.
Since
he
has
a
match
to
play,
he
had
to
take
this
call
end
his
Jhalak
journey." Well
this
shows
the
cricketer's
first
preference
is
his
game
and
prefers
Cricket
over
dance!

Irfan
was
the
first
wild-card
on
the
dance
reality
show.
He
had
also
said
that
his
earnings
in
Jhalak
will
be
used
for
his
cricket
academy,
which
he
and
his
brother
run
(joint
foundation)
-
Cricket
Academy
of
Pathans.
Irfan
had
said
that
he
took
two-three
months
to
accept
the
show
as
he
was
non-dancer.
He
took
this
as
a
challenge.
The
cricketer
was
then
quoted
by
PTI
as
saying,
"This
is
off
season
of
cricket
so
I
thought
of
taking
up
this
new
challenge.
I
will
be
able
to
learn
one
or
two
moves."
The
cricketer
expressed
his
wish
of
being
on
a
singing
show.
He
said
with
training
he
can
become
a
decent
singer.
But
he
also
said
that
Cricket
is
his
first
passion.
While
the
all-rounder
admits
he
is
a
non-dancer,
it
had
to
be
recalled
that
he
had
impressed
the
audience
with
his
very
first
performance.
He
and
his
choreographer
Suchitra
Sawant
had
danced
for
'Chinta
Ta
Ta' from
Rowdy
Rathore.
Last
week
on
Jhalak
Reloaded,
Irfan
had
gained
33
points
with
his
performance
(Garba)
for
the
song
‘Shubh
Aaraambh'
from
the
movie
Kai
Po
Che.
