Jodha Akbar: No Conversion For Jodha, Decides Akbar

Jodha Akbar April 1st episode: Akbar tells Jodha about the problem raised by Shah Iran’s conditions. He remains confused about the issue. Jodha comes to Pandit Badrinath and shares the problem. The priest tells her to keep patience and not to change her own belief. He alerts her that this situation can give rise to a tiff between Akbar and Salim.

Akbar consults his officers about the issue of religion. The Muslim priests and officers tell him to adjust with the demand of the situation. Birbal tells Akbar to take the decision all by himself, without consulting anyone.

Anarkali meets Salim and tells him that she regrets all past misunderstandings where she has blamed him for the crimes he did not commit at all. Salim requests her to sit with him for a while. Anarkali keeps the request. She tells him to give up drinking.

Salim says that he can sacrifice his life for her. She says that she is making this request for the sake of Man Bai, as she has promised Man Bai to take care of him. After she leaves, Salim says that he wants to become an emperor, only to give a beautiful life to Anarkali.

Jodha remains tensed about the present problem of Akbar. She blames herself as she had put the condition of not changing her religion before Akbar. Akbar says that it was no fault of hers as he himself accepted the condition happily before their marriage. He requests her not to worry and never to think of changing her religion. Rukaiya comes to know about the trouble from Jodha.
