Jodha Akbar: Haider Kidnaps Anarkali And Takes Her To Brothel

Jodha Akbar January 2nd episode: A whore comes to the Mughal palace and requests the guards to allow her to take part in the anniversary festival. Rukaiya rebukes the woman and tells the guards to expel her outright. Jodha stops Rukaiya and says that a whore is also a part of the common people and so, the woman has the right to take part in the fest. Rukaiya says that Salim has the ultimate power to decide it.

Salim supports Jodha to Rukaiya’s utter disappointment. Akbar thanks Rukaiya as she has convinced Salim to take part in the festival. Rukaiya says that she understands Akbar better than everyone, so she understands Salim too.

Rashid’s condition becomes critical. Zilbahar tells Anarkali to call the doctor. The doctor refuses to come. Anarkali returns with a heavy mind and blames herself for Rashid’s condition. Haider orders his men to kidnap Anarkali.

The men surround Anarkali and one of them kidnaps her on horseback. Haider plans to take her to the brothel. A girl’s chastity is prior to all and if it is forcefully taken away from her, she loses everything, thinks Haider.

Anarkali is taken to the brothel manager. One of the men says that prince Salim has ordered to bring her there. Haider plans that Anarkali will be tortured in the brothel and she will blame Salim for her ill fate. She will be compelled to complain to Akbar against salim, creating another tiff between the father and the son.

Akbar comes to know that Mirza Hakim has rebelled against him. He is shocked at the news as he loves Mirza like his own child. He orders his officers to arrange his meeting with Mirza.
