Jodha Akbar: Salim To Accept His Destiny Of The Heir

Jodha Akbar january 19th episode: Salim tells Hamida that he is not interested to stay in the palace. Hamida requests him to stay up to the anniversary of Akbar and Jodha. Salim agrees. He meets the common people and there he sees Qadir’s grandmother. She becomes surprised seeing that Salim still remembers her.

Salim tells Fatima Bi that he remembers the days that he spent in her hut and the dishes she made for him. He visits her hut and meets Qadir. He calls Qadir as brother and promises that he will give him a job.

Salim sends a recommendation for Qadir to Akbar’s office. The application is read out to the emperor and he readily agrees to grant the request. Birbal opposes. He tells Akbar that Salim has refused the post of the heir and so, his recommendation has no value.

Akbar feels irritated at this argument of Birbal. Birbal explains that his intention is not to insult Prince Salim, but to make him understand the importance of designation. If Salim’s recommendation is refused, he can accept his designation to serve the common people. Akbar likes the idea.

Salim becomes angry seeing Akbar’s denial. Rukaiya tells him that Akbar is right as Salim can only use his power when he has the right designation. She convinces Salim to accept his position of the heir.

Salim becomes emotional and shares the story of Anarkali with Rukaiya. Jodha tells Rukaiya that Salim has fallen for Man Bai. Rukaiya is amused. Rashid tells Anarkali that he will do everything so that she can meet her love.
