Jodha Akbar: Akbar Gets Information From Man Singh’s Messenger

Jodha Akbar's March 11th episode: Jodha publicly scolds Rukaiya for bad cooking, to save her from the hard labour of cooking. Salim makes his war plan with the officers. He decides to seek help from Bhagwandas and other Rajbangshi kings. Birbal secretly meets Akbar to inform about the situation. Akbar tells him that the village people are getting no relief from the King’s relief fund.

Two villagers see Akbar talking with Birbal and become suspicious. Akbar sees a sack of ration with the Mughal King’s stamp. He shows it to Jodha as the Sheth said that he had got no help from the King’s fund.

Jodha asks the Sheth about the stamps on the sacks. Sheth sees it and says that he has purchased the sacks from the nearby village; the people of that village might have got the King’s help, he thinks. Jodha tells Akbar that the Sheth is probably innocent in this case.

Salim inspires the soldiers to get ready for the war. Man Singh feels dubious about Mirza Hakim’s behavior. He thinks that Mirza is keeping watch on him. Akbar hears a sound of groaning near the relief camp and sees a man rolling on the ground in pain.

Akbar comes and sees that the man has been stabbed from the back. The man tells him to send his message to the emperor. He says that Man Singh is not a traitor; he left the palace as he was informed about an attack on Agra.

The man adds that Mirza and Sharifuddin have joined hands together to ruin Akbar and it is Sharifuddin who has stabbed him. He also says that Sharif’s spy is very much present within the palace. But he dies before he can name Shah Mansur.
