Jodha Akbar: Laboni Sees A Good Progress In Her Plot

Jodha Akbar's May 19th episode: Laboni asks Jodha why she is upset. Jodha shares that Akbar behaved rudely with her; his behavior with Aram Banu was weird too. Laboni tells her that these sweet-n-sour fights are very common between a couple and Jodha should not be upset about this. Actually, Laboni feels victorious thinking that her trick has worked.

Birbal comes to discuss some political issues with Akbar. The Emperor hears chants from somewhere. He bursts on Birbal and asks why he is chanting instead of giving his political message. Birbal is startled. He says that he has not chanted any verse!

Maharana Pratap declares another war against the Mughal kingdom. Rahim tells Salim that Maharana is an honorable enemy as he never fights for land, but he fights for ideals.

Laboni’s mother comes to Queen Rukaiya’s room. Hoshier complains to Rukaiya that the old woman has behaved rudely with her. Rukaiya scolds the woman. Laboni’s mother applies her black magic on Hoshier.

Hoshier starts saying that Rukaiya is an old woman who thinks that she is young and tries to capture the Emperor. She will never win over Jodha, adds the poor fellow. Rukaiya is shocked. She starts beating Hoshier. Laboni’s mother leaves the room with a shrewd smile.

Aram Banu plays hide-n-seek with Jodha. She comes to the room where Laboni and her mother practices black magic. She sees a wooden idol and takes it with her. Jodha tells her to return the doll.

Laboni and her mother become tensed as Aram Banu has taken the idol which was being used as Jalal’s idol for their black magic rituals. Laboni gives more attractive dolls to Aram Banu and takes Jalal’s idol back.
