Jodha Akbar: Akbar Sees Jodha During Conversion

Jodha Akbar May 5th episode: Abul Fazal and the Mughal soldiers become worried about the Emperor and think they should not have taken him to the jungle. Akbar comes back with a smiling face and says that he is absolutely fine. As he heard the cry of a lady, he found her in danger and helped her, clears Akbar.

The Emperor insists on proceeding towards Agra without delaying anymore. Laboni watches Akbar while he is leaving the jungle with his troop. She smiles and thinks he will come back very soon to meet her!

Salima greets Jodha for the holy occasion of Naoroj. Jodha decides that she will get converted to Islam on this holy occasion, so that Hamida recovers soon. She comes to the Mosque secretly with proper get-up and meets the Moulavi. She requests him to keep the matter secret.

The Moulavi again asks Jodha whether she is accepting Islam under any kind of pressure. Jodha confirms that she has come willingly. The Moulavi tells her the basic rules of Islam and instructs her to chant the prayer of Islam. Jodha fumbles. Though she is determined to accept Islam, she feels bad while doing it as she is breaking her promise to Akbar. The Moulavi requests her to complete the prayer.

Akbar visits the Mosque with Abul Fazal on his way back to Agra. He comes to pray in the Mosque. A priest tells him that a lady is willingly getting converted to Islam. He requests Akbar to greet the lady. Akbar comes and sees that the lady is none other than Jodha!
