city
of

Akbar
could
ever
think
of
divorcing
his
dearest
wife
Jodha!
The
Princes
come
back
to
the
city.
Akbar
gives
accolades
to
his
brave
children
in
the
Royal
court,
for
their
wonderful
performance
in
the
battle.
He
is
glad
to
declare
that
from
now
on
no
one
would
dare
interfere
in
the
matters
of
Hindusthan!
He
declares
that
Salim
will
get
back
his
position
of
the
Crown
Prince
very
soon!
Salim
meets
Anarkali
and
tells
her
to
confess
her
love,
as
she
is
avoiding
it
for
a
long
time.
Anarkali
recalls
Zilbahar’s
warning
that
she
has
no
right
to
love
the
Crown
Prince.
Still,
she
cannot
prevent
herself
from
confessing
her
love!
Salim
becomes
excited.
He
says
that
he
will
talk
with
his
parents
regarding
this
issue.
She
asks
whether
his
parents
would
be
able
to
think
over
this,
while
they
are
torn
apart
by
their
own
troubles.
Salim
comes
to
know
that
his
father
has
thought
of
divorcing
his
mother.
Salim
confronts
Akbar.
He
asks
how
Akbar
can
think
of
divorcing
his
wife,
who
has
supported
him
in
all
situations.
He
declares
that
he
would
refuse
his
post
of
the
Crown
Prince
if
the
Emperor
divorces
Jodha.
Man
Singh
also
tells
Akbar
that
he
would
leave
the
city
with
Jodha,
if
Jodha
and
Akbar
get
divorced.
Abul
Fazal
tells
Hamida
that
it
would
be
a
painful
chapter
of
the
Mughal
history
if
the
Emperor
divorces
his
wife.
But
ignoring
all
criticism,
Akbar
proceeds
for
the
rituals
of
divorce.
The
Moulavi
starts
the
process
and
asks
about
Jodha’s
alimony.
Jodha
says
that
she
would
like
to
take
a
big
amount
of
compensation!
