Actor
Ravi
Bhatia,
who
plays
Salim
in
popular
historical
magnum
opus
Jodha
Akbar,
hurt
his
right
foot
while
shooting
a
scene.
The
26-year-old
actor
got
eight
stitches
on
his
right
foot
and
continued
shooting
his
part.
"I
sustained
the
injury
when
a
heavy
vessel
fell
on
my
foot.
The
doctor
had
to
make
a
deep
cut
to
remove
the
infected
portion
when
I
visited
him
almost
a
month
later.
I
have
got
eight
stitches.
I
guess
a
stitch
in
time
could
have
literally
saved
eight
in
my
case.
"As
the
current
track
now
focuses
on
my
love
story
with
Anarkali
(played
by
Heena
Parmar),
I
have
to
be
on
the
sets
and
it
is
difficult
for
me
to
take
a
break.
So,
I
resumed
shoot
an
hour
later," he
said.
Jodha
Akbar,
the
Zee
TV
show
got
massive
ratings
when
the
love
story
of
Akbar
and
Jodha
was
in
full
swing.
The
makers
of
the
show
are
trying
to
get
the
same
results
with
the
love
story
between
Salim
and
Anarkali,
whose
love
story
is
as
famous
as
that
of
Jodha
and
Akbar.
Jodha
Akbar
is
aired
every
Monday
to
Friday
on
Zee
TV
also
stars
Rajat
Tokas
and
Paridhi
Sharma,
who
play
the
roles
of
Akbar
and
Jodha
respectively.
