Bigg Boss 8 had created a lot of buzz, especially with the two contestants - Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel. Yes, this not so famous celebrities became so notable in the house with their dramas. They are now called love birds and Farah Khan, the host of the show has also given new name ‘UpMa' for them.
Let us introduce to you to Karishma Tanna - An actress and model. She came to limelight with tele-serial Kyonki Saans Bi Kabi Bahu Thi, where she portrayed the role of Indu. She also went on to do many serials.
Karishma even hosted a show, which was magic-based reality TV show, India's Magic Star, which was aired on Star One. She participated in another reality show Meethi Choori No 1. The show was aired on Imagine TV, which was loosely based on Bigg Boss. She was also a part of Comedy Circus Season 1 (2007) and Comedy Circus Mahasangram (2010).
Karishma tried her hands at Bollywood through the movie Dosti: Friends Forever (2005), which had Bobby Deol, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and others. The movie did quite well at the Box Office.

The movie was on happily married couple who become target of suspicion, sanctity and compulsions in their relationship.

In 2013, Karishma was seen in another Bollywood movie - Grand Masti, which was a sex comedy. She was seen doing again many bold scenes. She played the role Unatti, wife of Vivek Oberoi in the movie. The movie was declared first Hindi adult comedy film to cross Rs 100 crore mark in record (23) days.
