TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor turns 40 today. Ekta has become favourite of many from decades through her serials that she has produced. While shows like Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Pavitra Rishta are still remembered; few other shows like Jodha Abhar, Kumkum Bhagya and Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi top the TRP chart.

Known for whacky sense of humour, Ekta is mamma's girl. She loves chocolates and is a party animal. Recently, she launched her own fashion line ‘Ek'.
