Kumkum Bhagya’s Bulbul Aka Mrunal Thakur Gets Farewell From Team; To Star In Salman Khan’s Sultan?

Recently, we had reported about the replacement of Mrunal Thakur in Zee TV's show, Kumkum Bhagya. Apparently, Mrunal's role will be reprised by Kajol Srivastava.

Kajol was previously seen in the shows Mooh Boli Shaadi and Badi Devrani. Confirming her role in Kumkum Bhagya, the actress was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "I am excited about my role. Mrunal did a good job and yes, I feel the pressure as I step into her shoes."

Even though Mrunal has not come out with any statement, we saw a few pictures on the social networking sites which gave us a clue that the actress is in fact quitting the show. Posting the above image, Mrunal's co-star, Shikha Singh took to the social network to wish the actress.

Shikha, who plays the role of Alia on the show, wrote, "Gurlllll all the best for all your endeavours @mrunal0801 Will miss u #kkb #alia #bulbul #enemybutfriends."

Posting the above picture, Mrunal's on-screen husband Purab (Arjit Taneja) wrote on his social media, "Wishing you all the luck and success, Kill it! ;-) :)))) @mrunal0801."

Another actress, Shruti Yogi posted the above image and wrote, "Gonna miss this pretty girl 😊 #prettestgirl."

Mrunal was unhappy with the role as it was not given much importance, and so she decided to quit the show. But another rumour is doing the rounds.

It is said that Mrunal has been approached to play one of the two heroines in Salman Khan's Sultan. It is also reported that Mrunal was not only approached for Sultan, she was also offered Aamir Khan's Dangal.

Well, since Mrunal is mum about the issue, we are waiting for the official confirmation by the actress herself.
