Kumkum Bhagya:Kajol Srivastava To Replace Mrunal Thakur Aka Bulbul; Pragya Stops Alia Harming Bulbul

There were rumours of Mrunal Thakur aka Bulbul quitting the show Kumkum Bhagya. It was said that she was not happy with her role, as it was not given much importance. The entire track focussed on Abhi and Pragya (played by Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha, respectively). But the actress had denied the rumours.

It was also said that Mrunal would exit from the show as her character comes to an end. Bulbul would find out the truth and get to know Pragya is in danger. In an attempt to save her sister, she would meet with an accident!

But now, there are reports that Mrunal will be replaced by Kajol Srivastava, who was seen in shows, Mooh Boli Shaadi and Badi Devrani.
Kajol, who is happy to bag the show, believes that this role will be a game changer in her career. The actress was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "I am excited about my role. Mrunal did a good job and yes, I feel the pressure as I step into her shoes."

The actress also said that she will play the part in her own way and not imitate the former actress. She added, "It might be an existing character in the show, but for me, it's a new character."

The rumours of Mrunal quitting the show is doing the rounds for a while now. It was said that since she bagged a lead role in the show Siya Ke Ram, she wanted to quit the show.

During Nach Baliye 7 too, it was said that Mrunal would quit the show. But Mrunal rubbished the rumours by coming out clear that she is not quitting the show.

It has to be noted that at the recent award ceremony - Zee Rishtey Awards 2015, the cast of Kumkum Bhagya had worn blue dress as it was their dress code, and seen together, but Mrunal was in a different coloured dress and was not seen with the Kumkum Bhagya gang!

Abhi-Pragya

Pragya will get the newly married couple Bulbul and Purab to the house. Bulbul is scared how her mother Sarla would take the marriage news, but Pragya, Abhi and Dadi solve the problem.

Sarla

Abhi, Pragya and Dadi go to their house and break the news of Bulbul and Purab's marriage. Sarla gets angry on Pragya. Sarla feels sad that she wanted to do the kanyadaan as a mother.

Sarla

Sarla also gets angry on the 'miser' Pragya, as she conducted Bulbul and Purab's marriage in a simple manner at a temple. Dadi handles the situation and saves Pragya.

Alia, Raj & Tanu

On the other hand, Alia becomes so furious because of this marriage that she burns the decorated room of the newly-weds. Raj and Tanu warn Alia.

Bulbul Upset

Seeing the burnt room, Bulbul feels she is unlucky for Purab and asks him to stay away from him. Sarla who comes to give her blessings for the newly-weds, tells Bulbul that Purab loves her a lot and will always keep her happy.

Abhi-Bulbul

Abhi shows the paper that he had got signed from Pragya and says he got his property back. He tells he will give the papers to Tanu. But Bulbul takes the papers back and shows it to Pragya.

Alia-Pragya

Alia also plans to harm Bulbul and destroy Purab and Bulbul's honeymoon. She tries to push Bulbul from the terrace, who was on the phone. In the nick of time, Pragya stops her. She warns Alia not to interfere in Bulbul and Purab's life.

Kajol Srivastava will be replacing Mrunal aka Bulbul in the show, will she be able to impress the audience just like Mrunal did?
