Ekta Kapoor's show Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi will reportedly take six-month leap. This leap is nothing new as it has become a trend in all shows, but the shocking news in this serial is Ishaani (Radhika Madan) and Ranveer's (Shakti Arora) separation!

It is said that RV and Ishaani will separate and they will stay with different partners. Now, this is called as a dhamakedar twist. Isn't it?

TOI quoted a source as saying, "The show has been shot like a film. So, the makers thought it should not drag like other shows. A leap or change of situations is required for the show to keep the viewers entertained."

Audience were happy seeing their favourite couple together. They were enjoying their fight and also chori-chori romance. What made Ishveer separate and why do they live with separate partners in short time? Are they doing drama by staying separate? All these should be seen post leap.

The show had previously taken two-year leap, where Parekh family lost their high status. The leap happened when Ishaani's cousins beat Ranveer and even his parents were not spared. Baa insults them and smears mud on RV's mother's face. RV's family was jailed. On the day of Ganpati Visarjan, Amba vows to get back to Baa, who insulted her.

Later after two years, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Ishaani's family is shown bankrupt and her father dies. Later, RV is shown rich.
