Today India is celebrating its 69th Independence Day and #SaluteSelfie has become a unique way of people paying tribute to the Armed Forces.

The hashtag Saluteselfie started on August 7, which according to company officials has got more than 17k followers in less than a week. Apparently, the first post was made by Kaun Banega Crorepati host Amitabh Bachchan.

On Social media, from Bollywood celebrities to Television celebrities, everyone have posted their Salute Selfie and wished everyone a Happy Independence Day.
