Ankita Bhargava, Karan Patel's fiancee, had her bachelorette party with her close friends on Sunday. Among her close friends was TV actress Roopal Tyagi. The couple will be tying the knot on 3rd May.

Actress Vinny Arora a friend of Ankita was quoted by Tellychakkar saying, "Roopal (Tyagi) and Rishina (Kandhari) played a huge part in organizing the party. It was our girl gang who had some real good time, though guys joined us later on. More than having fun it was about Ankita's special day which indeed calls for a celebration".

Though the couple wanted a destination wedding, due to Karan's tight schedule with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and hosting Nach Baliye 7, the duo had to settle for a city wedding. The wedding is said to be a filmy wedding among close friends and family members of the bride and groom.

Karan Patel, who currently is playing Raman in the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, got engaged to Ankita Bhargava, an actress and the daughter of senior actor, Abhay Bhargava. Abhay also happens to play Karan's on-screen father-in-law on the same show.

Ankita and Karan had their engagement on March 14th and the ceremony was attended by close family and friends of Karan and Ankita. While almost everyone from the show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, attended the ceremony, Divyanka Tripathi - Karan's better-half on the show, could not due to her leg injury.
