Rajat Tokas, the Akbar from Zee TV's popular historical drama Jodha Akbar, married his girlfriend Shrishti Nayyar, a theatre actor, at Udaipur's Jag Mandir Palace recently. Though the media was kept away from the wedding, the photos of the ceremony has emerged two days after the special day.

The three-day long functions started with the sangeet at Chunda Palace, followed by a mehendi ceremony at Shiv Niwas, and the wedding at Jag Mandir Palace. The reason they picked Udaipur was because Shrishti's parents, apparently, got married there and they wanted their daughter to tie the knot there as well.

Rajat, who prefers his personal life to be extremely private, chose to keep the media away from the wedding and not until two days after the ceremonies got over that the photos of the wedding emerged outside. Paridhi Sharma, his co-star playing his better half on the show as Jodha, too was absent at Rajat's special day.

Apart from Chetan Hansraj, his co-star from his Zee TV's show Jodha Akbar, there were none others attending the wedding from the show and from the entertainment industry. Rajat is often said to have had issues with the makers of the show, his co-stars and the media and with none of them invited for the wedding, the rumours have been proved accurate.

Rajat Tokas got married to his girlfriend, Shrishti Nayyar, last weekend and it was a private affair with the close family and friends of the bride and groom.

The wedding took place at Udaipur as Shrishti's parents got married there and wanted their daughter too to wed there. The venue was extravagant and king size.
