Rohan Mehra To Play Akshara-Naitik’s Son Naksh In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Post Leap

Few days back, it was reported that the popular drama of Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which was to take 10-year leap has been delayed. As the makers had problem in finding a fresh face for Naksh.

According to recent reports, Rohan Mehra will be replacing Shivansh Kotia post leap. Akshara (Karan Mehra) and Naitik's (Hina Khan) children Naksh and Naira will be 20-year-old and 12-year-old, respectively. Now that Naitik's role has been finalised we are eager to know whom the production house has finalised for Naira's role.

Naksh will be shown as handsome and naughty character. To match this character, show makers were finding problem in deciding on the new face. According to IANS the team had auditioned over 200 boys for the character of Naksh.

Rohan was earlier seen in Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar's Bade Achhe Laggte Hain. He played the role of Varun in the show.

Post leap the shooting will be taking place in Cape Town. Post leap, Akshara and Naitik will be seen sporting new looks, which is kept as secret. All that we know is Akshara will shed her sari clad avatar and will be donning Indo-western clothes.

In the recent episode, Singhania family are all getting ready for Muskan's marriage, which will be held in a village. Since Naksh has problem with his parents and is finding it difficult to express his feelings, Akshara and Naitik stay back at home. Meanwhile, Akshara get to know the real problem with the flip book of Naksh, who thinks he is lonely as his parents love only his sister Naira.
