Saath Nibhana Saathiya: Isn’t Kokila Too Loud & Harsh To Meera?

In Saath Nibhana Saathiya, we feel Kokila (Rupal Patel) is being too loud and harsh to Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) and Ahem's (Mohammad Nazim) daughter Meera. Though Meera is stubborn and hate her mother Gopi, aren't the family members treating her bad?

We understand that the family has tolerated a lot from Meera and can't take any more, but we don't get the logic behind Kokila's way of treating Meera? Kokila's punishments are not only making Meera more stubborn but day-by-day her hatred towards Gopi (her mother) is becoming stronger.

Kokila's loud voice and powerful dialogues sometimes are very irritating, and her punishments seem unreasonable. Forget television, do you think in reality any person can give such punishments to their grandchildren or children?

Kokila locks Meera in the room. She takes away her accessories - laptop, mobile and everything because of which she is surviving or happy. Seeing Meera paint the walls with all hatred messages to her mother Gopi, Kokila's anger and Gopi's sadness gets doubled.

Meera had brought Rs 2 Lakhs worth - designer clothes, jewellery and many other things, and asks Dadi to pay the bill. Finally Kokila pays and gives all the costly item brought by Meera to the maid! Who in Meera's place won't get irritated?

Later, Kokila throws her out in the rain. The whole family watches her getting drenched. Though Gopi and Ahem try to convince Kokila, she requests them to give her a chance to change Meera.

Meera steals umbrella from the shop, but the shopkeeper chases her and takes umbrella away. This whole thing happens in front of Meera's family, who are watching all these incidents ‘live'. Kokila even asks Tolu and Molu to keep an eye on Meera.

Well, we know Kokila is trying to teach Meera a lesson, and we also know she will rescue Meera if she gets into trouble. But don't you think the punishments and the treatment given to Meera by Kokila only works in TV shows and not in real life?
