Sonakshi Sinha To Debut On Television as Indian Idol Junior Judge

Sonakshi Sinha will be debuting on television with Indian Idol Junior as one of the judges. Sonakshi, who is active on social networking site Twitter, made this announcement. Before she confirmed the news, she asked her fans to keep guessing.

It was on Friday, 3rd April that she declared on Twitter. In the tweet she called herself as Shotgun, which is her father Shatrughan Sinha's nickname. She tweeted with the YouTube link of the promo of Indian Idol Junior, "Enough guessing!! HAPPY to announce #ShotgunJunior is going to be a part of Indian Idol Junior 😃."

On April 2nd, she gave a clue that she will be announcing some good news for her fans. She tweeted, "OMG!! Have some grrrrreat news for you'll... Wait for it #juniorontheway." When @omarazamii tweeted, "@sonakshisinha Hey look #SonakshiAndJunior is trending! Now you gotta reveal it! ☺," she further tweeted, "Ok so u can wait for me to tell u, or u can keep guessing!! Either way this is tooooooo exciting #SonakshiAndJunior."

Sonakshi's fans were so excited with this news that they created a hashtag #SonakshiOnIndianIdolJr which started trending on Twitter. Happy with the trend, @sonakshisinha tweeted, "So much excitement for #SonakshiOnIndianIdolJr that its trending!!! Woooo hooooo 💃💃."

Sonakshi was quoted by TOI as saying, "I am excited about judging the music reality show featuring children. I am a kid at heart, and love watching shows that display such wonderful talent, so it's the perfect fit for me. I can't wait to meet all the talented kids."

Indian Idol Junior, which is all set to go on air on Sony Entertainment, will be hosted by Asha Negi and Hussain Kuwajerwala.
