      Star Parivaar Awards 2015: A Grand Success Despite Few Obstacles!


      Star Parivaar Awards (SPA) 2015 was a starry night as many television celebrities graced the event. The 15th edition on SPA was held on 17th May at Dome@NSCI SVP stadium in Mumbai.

      SPA 2015 was hosted by Karan Patel, Priyansh Jora and Sonia Balani. The whole Star Plus family which included the actors from various serials like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Diya Aur Bati Hum, Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Tu Mera Hero performed the opening act. Also, to give viewers a visual delight, a special 3D stage was designed.

      All Nach Baliye 7 couples and judges were present on the show except Preity Zinta. The actress ditched the show at the last moment.

      YHM's Divyanka Tripathi and DABH's Deepika Singh, Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi, Juhi Parmar, YRKKH's Karan Mehra, Riddhi Dogra-Raqesh Vashisth, Yuvraj-Suhani, Urvashi Dholakia, Ragini Khanna, Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali and others graced the event.

      Though few audiences thought that the event was better than the previous year's, others weren't happy with the performances.

      Many stars faced problems, one of them being Divyanka Tripathi, who was first irked with the organisers for giving her a tough song. Later during the same event, she lost her expensive jewellery.

      Another star who faced trouble was Rupal Patel of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, who plays the role of Kokila. The actress didn't get the pass until last moment. It was later when her name was called for receiving award she was given the entry pass.

      Few actors like Hina Khan, Mahhi Vij, Karan Patel didn't make an appearance on the red carpet. Also few stars from older shows didn't even get invites.

      Star Parivaar Awards 2015 will be aired on 7th June (Sunday).
