Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Completes 1700 Episodes

The longest running show of Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) recently completed 1700 episodes. This television serial got premiered on 12th January, 2009. The show is all set to take 10-year leap.

Elated Karan Mehra, who plays the role of Naitik in the show, took to Twitter and expressed his happiness. He tweeted, "1700 episodes and still counting 😊 Thanku all for your LOVE & SUPPORT 😘".

Producer Rajan Shahi thanked all actors, crew and YRKKH unit for their unity and support from the time they started the show. He was quoted by Tellybuzz as saying, "It has been a very enriching journey and the full team including cast, crew and unit together is all charged and motivated to take it forward and on behalf of the entire team, I want to thank the fans and well-wishers for their support and encouragement."

The show focuses on the daily happenings within the household of an Udaipur (Singhania) family. YRKKH is produced by Rajan's Director's Kut Productions. The show is also dubbed in Tamil as Uravugal Thodarkathai and is aired on Star Vijay.

YRKKH will be taking a major step by taking leap. According to spoilers, Daddaji will be shown dead. Bhabhi maa will blame Akshara (Hina Khan) for his death as she was the one who took the major decision. It is also said that Akshara will be seen in South Africa separated from Naitik and their children Naksh and Naira.

Akshara and Naitik's children will be shown as grown-up, while Akshara will don a new look - modern avatar.
