Swaragini: Nikita Sharma Enters The Show; Sanjeeda Sheikh Shoots For New Year Sequence!

As we reported, in Swaragini, Swara (Helly Shah) will be bringing Sanskar's (Varun Kapoor) ex-lover, Kavita to Maheshwari house. It is now said that the role of Kavita will be played by Nikita Sharma.

Nikita is best known for playing the role of Antara Kaul in the Life Ok's Do Dil Ek Jaan. The actress was also seen on other shows, Maharakshak: Devi (as Vedika), Love By Chance (as Urmi), Yeh Hai Aashiqui (as Pragya) and others.

The actress, who is excited to be part of Colors' popular show, was quoted by IANS as saying, "I always wanted to do a powerful role and I am glad that I got the opportunity to perform the character of Kavita which has a lot of emotional layers. I am sure the audience will love this character."

The actress will be seen essaying a cameo role, but her character will be strong. It is said that she has already started shooting.

On the other hand, New Year is around the corner and the makers of Swaragini will be introducing few more twists on the show. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar) will be organising party, where along with the show's characters, other television stars will be performing.

One such star who has already started shooting for the new year sequence is Sanjeeda Sheikh. She was quoted by an entertainment website as saying, "I love dancing and hence I chose to be a part of this show. I met all the artists on the set and they were all very fun loving. I had a great time shooting with them all."
