TV Actress Mona Wasu Molested, Files Case!

Television actress Mona Wasu was molested on Wednesday and filed molestation case the next day. The incident happened in Versova on Wednesday at around 11.45 pm, while she was returning home to Madh Island from work.

Mona was quoted as saying by a leading daily, "I was about to get into the jetty when this man touched me inappropriately and just walked away as if nothing had happened."

Mona ran after the guy and beat him. That's when few people gathered around. She later called police and ensured that the molester was arrested. She filed a molestation case at the DN Nagar police station the next day. The accused was identified as Inder Gupta (28).

Mona added that it took her two hours to register the complaint. Later police dropped her home safely. To ensure safety in such unsafe streets Mona says, she always keeps Pepper spray and compass handy.

She was quoted as saying, "I'm always alert and keep a pepper spray and compass with me. As an independent woman, I value my freedom. Some say travelling late at night is not safe, but then such incidents happen in the morning too."

Well the actress deserves applause and the way she got back the molester behind the bars bravely is truly inspiring. The tips that she gave, ‘keeping pepper spray and compass' handy is definitely important to note for every women.

Mona was last seen in Amitabh Bachchan starrer Yudh, and in serial Parichay, where she played the role of an antagonist. She had also won the reality show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao.
