With Ruhi and her Ishima separated, the mother and daughter are having a hard time living away from each other. When Raman informed Ishita that Ruhi is going to come to the Navratri puja and stay with them for a few hours, Ishita will be so excited with the news that she plants a kiss on Raman's cheeks.

Raman and Ishita are in love and though they have not expressed it to each other in the exact words, they are aware that they are in love with each other. But when Ruhi was snatched away from Ishita, the couple have some what become distant.
