Yeh Hai Mohabbetein: Charge Of Marital Rape Against Ashok

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein's March 30th episode: Ishita is overwhelmed as Ruhi comes to help her when she falls. Ruhi says it was her duty to help a ‘person’; she refuses talking with Raman or Ishita anymore. Ishita tells Raman that Ruhi can be angry with her, but she has not forgotten her training.

Suraj tells Ashok that he should have Shagun signed the deal of ad campaign as Raman can create trouble. Ashok comes to Mihir’s house with papers. Rinki sees Shagun signing the papers.

Rinki informs Ishita that Shagun is using Ruhi as a money machine. On the other hand, Raman tells Mihir to have a talk with Ashok and stop the ad deal. Ishita becomes furious and insists on meeting Shagun promptly. Mihir talks with her and says that he is going to meet Ashok. Ishita says that she will go with him. Simmi accompanies her.

Mihika spends restless hours inside the locked room; she becomes weak having no food for a long time. Ashok unlocks the door and enters the room. He tries having forced sex and she desperately tries to free herself.

Mihika manages to escape and runs down the stairs; she sees Ishita, Mihir and Simmi in the drawing room. She comes to Ishita and breaks down. She says that Ashok has tried raping her.

Simmi and Mihir pounce on Ashok and beat him black and blue. The brute says that he can do anything with his wife. Ishita says that she will teach him a lesson. She straight comes to the police station with Mihika, Mihir and Simmi.

Ishita tells the officer on duty to take an FIR of marital rape. The officer advises her to settle things ‘by discussion’ as this a ‘family problem’. Ishita remains strict in her point and makes the officer file the complaint.
