Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the popular drama of Star Plus, will be taking 10-year leap. Post leap the shooting will be taking place in Cape Town.

Reportedly, Akshara Aka Hina Khan and Naitik Aka Karan Mehra will be seen sporting new looks post leap, which is kept secret. All the child artists will grow up to teenagers. Akshara and Naitik will be having 12-year-old daughter and 20-year-old son post the leap.

It was reported that the producer of the show, Rajan Shahi was exploring for right location to be shot since a month. A source was quoted as saying by TOI, "Akshara will shed her sari-clad avatar for Indo-western clothes." There were even speculations on change in time slot. But according to TOI, the serial will be aired in its original time slot.

In the recent episode, we saw Akshara and Naitik welcomed their little and adorable daughter Naira. Though Akshara was cautious of taking care of their school going son Naksh, day by day he was getting cranky as the concentration of their parents were diverted towards his new-born sister.

Naitik even acts very busy in work and pretends uninterested in Valentines day celebration. In the upcoming episode he will be seen surprising Akshara during V-day. He will be organising a grand dance party which will have lots of game and fun. The party will also have a theme where all girls will be seen wearing pink and boys will don white blazers.
