It is now confirmed that Zee TV's new show - Tashan E Ishq, will be replacing Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma's historical drama. The new show starring young actors - Zain Imam and Jasmin Bhasin will go on air from 10 August in the 8 PM slot replacing Jodha Akbar.

Jodha Akbar will go off air on Friday 7 August and the new show will replace it from Monday onwards. After a successful run of two complete years, 18 June 2013 to 7 August 2015, Jodha Akbar will finally bid adios to the fans of the show.

Despite their consistent efforts, the fans of Jodha Akbar could not manage to keep the show from going off air. The much-loved show has tried all the tricks in the books to bring back the ratings, but have failed to get the glory back and the makers have finally given-up hope on the show.

Tashan E Ishq is said to be an unusual love story between a young couple despite the differences between their families. The show already has caused a lot of stir among the young viewers since the lead actor, Zain, is familiar to them from his previous show, Kaisi Ye Yaariyan.

Jodha Akbar will go off-air on 7 August and Tashan E Ishq will go on-air on 10 August at 8 PM.
