Arjun Bijlani Eats 20 Ice Creams To Beat The Heat On The Sets Of Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil!

Star Plus' latest offering, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil stars Drashti Dhami and Arjun Bijlani in the lead roles. These two talented, good-looking and popular actors are coming together for the first time and their fans couldn't be more happier than this!

Arjun's character, Raghav is that of a kind-hearted guy, whose sense of humour lightens up any situation, whereas Drashti plays the role of Naina, a present-day independent and confident girl. The show is touted to be a refreshing love story of two mature individuals who are brought together by coincidences.

As we all are aware that a few portions of the show has been across the beautiful locales of Austria. The team recently returned after wrapping up the portions in Austria and the shooting is rapidly progressing in Mumbai, keeping the atmosphere of Austria intact.

Hence, the actors have no choice, but to shoot with jackets and overcoats in warm Mumbai weather, to justify the theme of the show. It seems that the production house has arranged for ice creams, so that the actors don't fall sick due to the costume requirements!

Recently, Arjun spoke regarding this to a leading entertainment portal. He told, " There is nothing we can do if the character demands a certain look. My dietician suggested this would be a simpler way of keeping away from falling sick with heat. Of course, with a 20 ice-cream cups a day diet I have an extended 1-hour workout regime to curb the fat gained on my days of shooting for the show. But all is good!"

The show is all set to premiere today at 8pm on Star Plus.
