Bollywood Actress Amrita Rao To Make Her TV Debut!

Many Bollywood actors, Sonakshi Sinha, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Amitabh Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, have tried their luck in Television industry. The latest we hear is, actress Amrita Rao is all set to make her television debut. Amrita was last seen in the Bollywood movie, Satyagraha.

Earlier, it was rumoured that the Vivah actress will debut in Shashi Sumeet Mittal's next show, but now there are reports of her, being a part of Nivedita Basu's next.

Apparently, producer Nivedita's show will be based on the music industry, which is titled as Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai. Amrita will be the younger version of veteran actress Deepti Naval.

Deepti confirmed being a part of the show. She was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "Yes, but let the channel decide when to give out this news."

The producer of the show, Nivedita was quoted by the leading daily, "It's true that Amrita is making her debut with this series and Deepti will play her older version. Vikas Gupta, the programming head of the GEC that will air the show, wanted to make it since three years. My affinity for music prompted me to produce it."

It has to be recalled that Amrita's sister Preetika Rao got popular with the Colors' show Beintehaa, in which she played the role of Aliya. Like Preetika, we hope Amrita too, get success in TV industry.
