Comedy Nights Live: No Humour, No Life-Tweeples Give Thumbs Down; Even Madhuri-Mika Couldn’t Save!
Although it is not right to judge anything in the first look, we have always believed in the quote, 'First impression is the best impression'.
Colors' Comedy Nights Live, that replaced Comedy Nights With Kapil was launched yesterday (31st January). And looks like the first episode itself has irked the audiences as the show lacked the humour. Moreover, the audiences were angry on Colors' for replacing their favourite show Comedy Nights With Kapil and the host, Kapil Sharma.

There was no life in the show. The jokes that was cracked on the show made us say, 'should we really laugh on that' or 'what the hell'. In short, it lacked humour. Although Madhuri Dixit, the first guest of the show, was generous enough to smile all the time, whenever Bharti Singh cracked joke on her! It was like more of insult comedy, that doesn't go well with most of us.
The makers must have thought since Sidhu was impressing the guests with his shayaris, why not replace him with a singer, who will do the same! But believe us Mika's songs could also not save the show or impress the guest.
You must have noticed the guests happy and thanking Sidhu paji when he dedicates shayaris for them. But, when Mika dedicated a song to Madhuri, we felt that smile missing on Madhuri's face (not their mistake though)!
The rapport between the host and guest was completely missing. They cracked jokes on Madhuri, her husband (doctor), the surname, and they didn't even spare Saroj Khan (Madhuri's guru)! Moreover, Madhuri was asked to dance and enact so many times!
Only two people who made us laugh was Bua ji (Upasana Singh) and Siddharth Sagar, who played padosan (neighbour) Mangala.
The first show was a disaster - Thumbs down from us, as well as the tweeples; even Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit and singer Mika Singh, could save the show! (Click on the slides to read what tweeples has to say. Don't forget to hit the comment box to share your views on the show)
