Inspirational! 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' Actress Deepika Singh's Fan Girl Moment With Idol, Hema Malini!

Deepika Singh has won a million hearts with her electrifying performance as Sandhya in Star Plus' cult show, Diya Aur Baati Hum. The show which had a successful run of 5 years came to an end on 10 September, 2016.

The show ended on a sad note with Sooraj and Sandhya becoming victims to a bomb blast. Audiences were simply in awe of the ideal couple, Sooraj and Sandhya, and the duo has gathered a huge fan following.

But Deepika herself experienced a fan girl moment recently! It so happened that the actress was shooting at a studio, when she saw the Bollywood actress, Hema Malini passing by. It is to be recalled here that Deepika, is not only a good actress, but also a trained Odissi dancer.

Deepika wasted no time in telling the legendary actress, as to how she was influenced by her Bharatanatyam performances, as a child. Furthermore, the legendary actress was pleased to meet Deepika, as well as appreciated her love for dance.

Not only that, Deepika was even invited by the legendary actress cum briliant dancer, to see her dance performance and Deepika was more than happy to tell 'yes'! Well, we must say, she is one lucky girl!

An elated Deepika spoke about meeting the the veteran actress to a leading entertainment portal. She told, "Hemaji is the inspiration behind me learning this dance form. Getting invited to her annual dance performance is huge for me. I will never forget that day."
