Diya Aur Baati Hum: Kunal Khosla Replaces Randeep Rai; Prateeksha Lonkar & Prachi Tehlan To Enter!

We had seen the entry of a lot of new characters during a leap and the Mission Mahabali track in Star Plus' popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum. Now, again the makers have roped in a few more characters to spice up the show.

According to an entertainment website, Kunal Khosla will step into the shoes of Randeep Rai, who played the role of Chotu. The actor was previously seen playing the role of Qutubuddin Aibaq in Jodha Akbar.

It has to be recalled that on the show DABH, a love track between the new entries, Randeep and Shivshakti Sachdev (who played the role of Bulbul) was introduced. But looks like, the track didn't work. Now, the makers are planning to refocus on Chotu's track.

Also, it is reported that, the netball and basketball player, Prachi Tehlan will enter the show. Prachi will be seen playing Chotu's love interest, Arzoo.

Another talented actress, who will enter the show, is Prateeksha Lonkar. The actress is seen in Color TV's Thapki Pyar Ki, where she plays the role of Poonam Chaturvedi.

Confirming the news about her entry in DABH, Prateeksha was quoted by the entertainment website as saying, "Yes, I am entering Diya Aur Bati Hum. All I will want to say at the moment is that I will be playing an interesting character, and will be part of the new family being introduced."

Prateeksha, who will be seen playing the role of Arzoo's chachi, will be a negative one.
