Diya Aur Baati Hum: It's Confirmed! The Show To Wrap Up On Aug 15!

We had earlier reported about Diya Aur Baati Hum going off air soon. Well, now it has been confirmed that the show will air its last episode on 15th August. The show produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions started in the year 2011, with a unique concept and ruled the TRP charts, until recently.

Now the latest we hear is that the makers have decided to end the show on a good note. Of late, there has been a drastic dip in the ratings. That's the reason as to why the makers have decided to pull off the show.

The characters Sandhya (Deepika Singh), Sooraj (Anas Rashid) and Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela) have been loved immensely by the audiences. We are definitely going to miss this show!

Currently, the show is revolving around Sooraj's paralysis. Sooraj got injured while saving Bhabho from the riots which resulted in the paralysis. In the last episode, we saw how Sandhya, Bhabho and the entire Rathi family broke down on seeing Sooraj on the wheelchair.

Maasa tries to rebuild the lost confidence in Sandhya, but in vain. Bhabho and Babasa are completely shattered on seeing Sooraj's condition and recall that Sooraj, once the backbone of the Rathi family, is now unable to manage himself!

On the other hand, Sandhya is crying and unable to compose herself. Meenakshi tries to console her and asks her to be a pillar of strength as Sooraj did during her tough times!

How will Sandhya instigate the lost confidence in Sooraj and cure him? Wait and watch.
