Revealed: Drashti Dhami's New Jhansi Ki Rani Avatar In Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani

The beautiful and talented Drashti Dhami, who is playing the role of Gayatri in the Zee TV's popular soap 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' has put on a new avatar in the show. Yes, you have heard it right. She is seen as a warrior trying to save the kingdom of Ameerkot.

After impressing the viewers with her acting prowess as a simple village belle, and later as the queen of Ameerkot, and now she will be seen playing a brave warrior, very similar to Jhansi Ki Rani. She was caught in a do-or-die situation and was seen fighting with the evil and ferocious, Kaal with her daughter on her back.

Viewers will get to see a high-voltage drama in the upcoming episodes, as Gayatri is leaving no stone unturned to save her kingdom and avenge the death of her husband Ranaji(played by Siddharth Karnick). She will be seen raising an army, learning martial arts, horse riding and sword fighting and gearing up for the mortal combat.

Drashti said that she was extremely happy that the role of Gayatri is showcasing her in different avatars and at the same time, it is challenging as an artist to explore the actor within.

This will be a visual treat for all her fans and needless to say, it was a diificult scene to shoot.

"I had to be extremey careful during the shoot. It was difficult. But I loved doing it." said Drashti.

While the character of Gayatri comes to an end in the show after she succumbs to her injuries during the encounter, nevertheless Drashti is excited as her parting shot is indeed a sizzling one.

Well, we are super excited on seeing her in this avatar and after this the show will be taking a grand generation leap soon after which the plot will revolve around Ranaji and Gayatri's daughter.
