Drashti Dhami To Re-unite With Her 'Ek Tha Raja..' Co-Star Surekha For 'Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil'!

Whoa! The cast of Ekta Kapoor's upcoming show on Star Plus 'Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil' is definitely getting bigger and better! Firstly, it is Drashti Dhami's comeback project on television. Secondly, with 'Naagin' actor Arjun Bijlani replacing Shaleen Malhotra in the nick of the moment, the curiosity surrounding the project has only increased!

Next comes, Arjun and Drashti's fresh pairing. Yes, these two good looking, popular and talented actors have been paired for the first time and their fans are waiting to witness their on-screen chemistry. Ekta's shows also boasts of a bunch of excellent supporting cast and it is no less this time!

For the uninitiated, she has roped in veteran actors, who have been a part of the previous Ekta shows. As per the reports, actors Alka Amin of 'Parichay' fame, Muni Jha of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Usha Bachani have been roped in for pivotal roles.

And the latest to join the bandwagon, is none other than veteran actress Surekha Sikri, who is currently seen as Badi Rani Maa in Zee TV's Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani. The 'Balika Vadhu' actress will be playing Arjun Bijlani's Dadi in the show.

The veteran actress confirmed this to a leading entertainment portal. She told, "Yes I am doing the show and it's an interesting character. I am playing the Dadi to the main lead. She is someone who overreacts to every situation."

Well, good news is that Arjun has kick-started the shooting recently and the team will soon fly to Austria to shoot some of the portions.

As per the sources, the mythological series, Siya Ke Ram, has got an extension and Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil will now replace the series in the month of November.
