Ek Duje Ke Vaaste To Go Off Air; Fans Are Extremely Upset!

It is really unfortunate and grieving that yet another popular show Ek Duje Ke Vaaste is going off air. Previously, Zee TV's Tashan-E-Ishq had to meet the same fate. Although, the show was doing well initially, the makers decided to wrap up, as the show's TRPs dropped gradually. Even Colors' show Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi was shut down for the same reason. Now, another show meeting the same fate, is really disappointing.

It has to be noted that a few shows may not have gained the required TRPs, but they are actually the favourites for many audiences. The viewers are extremely upset that the makers have decided to end the show abruptly! They are even making the posts that have #Dontendedkv, viral. (Check Out The Actors' & Fans' Tweet)

A couple of days ago Nikita, who got discharged from the hospital, thanked her fans for the wishes. She wrote, "For all the prayers and good wishes I ve got from you people for a speedy recovery, here is the most gigantic thank you in the world."

Apparently, the decision was taken as the lead actress Nikita was ill, and couldn't shoot for quite some time. The makers didn't want to drag the show to fool the audiences and decided to end it. If sources are to be believed the show might end on October 7.

A source associated with the show was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "We tried our best to manage without Nikita, but being the protagonist of the show, it became increasingly difficult to do so. Since she has been unwell for quite some time, she has not been available to shoot with. Rather than focusing on other tracks and fooling the audience, we decided to end it."

An entertainment website confirmed the same from producer Dilip Jha!

But the lead actress Nikita has something else to say. She was quoted by an entertainment portal as saying, "I have not been updated about any such thing. I got a discharge from the hospital today itself (September 24) and I have no clue what's going on. If at all anything has happened, I am yet to be updated about it."

Well, we just hope the channel and the makers reconsider their decision for the viewers' sake.
