Hrithik Roshan & Akshay Kumar Refuse To Appear On Jhalak: Is Comedy Nights Bachao The Reason?

According to the latest reports, Bollywood actors Hritik Roshan and Akshay Kumar have refused to appear on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9! It is said that Hritik Roshan, who was to promote his upcoming film Mohenjo Daro, opted out of the show (Jhalak) at the last moment.

Apparently, the channel wanted Hrithik to appear on Comedy Nights Bachao along with the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 9. But, the Bollywood actor wasn't comfortable with the format, and hence, backed out of both the shows! Well, the channel must understand that getting roasted is not everybody's cup of tea!

There are reports that Akshay too, who was to promote his upcoming film Rustom, might not appear on the dance reality show, for the same reason!

It has to be recalled that Akshay Kumar, who had already been on Comedy Nights Bachao for Housefull 3 promotions, did not have a pleasant experience. It has to be recalled that Akshay was miffed with CNB Team for racist jokes about Lisa Haydon.

Also, if we recall, Kapil Sharma and CNWK makers were also upset with the Channel (Colors) for the same reason - the channel had made sure that the actors who appeared on CNWK, would appear on CNB!

Well, if the channel makes this compulsory (actors who want to promote their films on Colors' show should promote their movie on CNB), then they have to change! Because as we said, getting roasted is not everybody's cup of tea!
