Ishqbaaz: A Saga of Three Oberoi Brothers- Shivaay, Omkara & Rudra!

Set in the posh suburbs of Mumbai, 'Ishqbaaz', produced by 4 Lions Films, tells the story of three brothers of the Oberoi family- Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta), Omkara (Kunal Jaisingh) and Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo). The show will replace the finite series, Tamanna.

They are rich, good looking and scions of a powerful business family. Each of them has a different approach towards life, yet they remain inseparable! Shivaay Oberoi, the eldest of the three, is charismatic and a shrewd businessman who lets his mind rule over his heart!

He is sincerely dedicated towards his family business. He aspires to be very powerful. Yet, he has family values and is very attached to his two younger brothers.

Omkara Oberoi, is equally smart as his elder brother. He is a talented artist, sensible and sympathetic towards the people around him. Though, he has minor differences with his elder brother, his love remains unconditional.

The last but not the least, Rudra Oberoi, is the youngest of the three. He is a completely outgoing guy, apt to today's generation. He is a total fitness freak. His life revolves around friends and parties, yet he is equally attached to his brothers and they are always there to take him out of trouble.

Sharing his views about the new show, Star Plus's spokesperson said that the channel has always represented stories which project 'nayi soch'. He told that, in the latest offering, Ishqbaaz, the younger generation has been shown as the ones that value family relationships.

He also added, "The younger generation are instrumental in keeping the family united. Ishqbaaaz is our endeavour to continue to showcase content that will live up to what we promised our viewers; "Rishta Wahi Soch Nayi".

All in all, the show seems to be promising with an equal mix of young and established star cast. As the show proceeds, a lot of family secrets will be revealed which may hamper the unity of the brothers.

The show also stars Mahesh Thakur, Siraj Mustafa, Mreenal Deshraj, Neha Lakshmi Iyer and Reyhna Malhotra. Catch Ishqbaaz on Star Plus from 27th June, at 10 pm.
