Kapil Sharma To Recreate The Characters Of Comedy Nights With Kapil On His New Show!

The makers of Comedy Nights With Kapil and Colors channel are not ready to give up easily. We all know how the channel, recently issued a legal notice on Ali Asgar and Sunil Grover, who played Dadi and Gutti, respectively, on Comedy Nights With Kapil.

Rumours have it that Sunil and Ali will be seen on Kapil Sharma's new show. Also sources close to the show say that the CNWK's makers want to relocate the show from Colors to Sony Entertainment without a breach of contract.

If you recall, the legal report that was sent to Alia and Sunil said, "Dadi can't perform even as a normal old lady with grey hair and a jooda. Guthi can't even don ribbons."

It is now said that Kapil and his team is working with the legal team on the new show. A source was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "Kapil's team can't have the same characters because Colors owns the rights to the original show on television. The team is taking legal advice to bring back the original characters in avatars that won't amount to a breach of contract with Colors."

The source further added, "Viewers want to see the same characters again. So they have to make sure viewers don't feel cheated. At the same time, the truth is that the same characters can't be relocated to Sony. They have to be re-created."

It is also said that the title of the new show will definetly have 'Kapil' in it.
