As
the
Colors'
popular
soap
opera,
Kasam
achieved
a
feat
of
100
episodes
recently,
it
waved
goodbye
to
its
leading
lady
Kratika
Sengar
aka
Tanu,
as
well.
While
many
of
the
fans
wanted
her
to
stay
back
post
the
leap,
sadly,
that
didn't
happen.
The
show
has
progressed
towards
a
massive
20-year
leap,
and
it
was
decided
that
the
Kratika's
role
should
end
at
this
point.
In
the
previous
episodes,
Tanu
breathes
her
last
in
Rishi's
arms,
after
a
bullet
hits
her.
The
show
was
launched
in
March
2016
and
within
no
time,
the
characters
Rishi
and
Tanu
became
household
names
and
the
show
bags
4th
spot
in
the
TRP
charts.
Kratika's
effortless
portrayal
of
Tanu,
a
sweet
and
simple
girl
won
accolades
from
the
viewers.
Her
chemistry
with
co-star,
Sharad
Malhotra
was
also
appreciated.
The
duo
won
the
award
for
the
Best
Popular
Jodi
at
the
Zee
Gold
Awards
2016.
Kratika
took
to
Instagram
and
shared
an
emotional
post
about
her
exit
from
the
show.
She
wrote,
"How
lucky
I
am
to
have
you
all
that
makes
saying
Goodbye
so
hard.
#kasam
will
always
b
very
close
to
my
heart.
Thanku."
Even
her
co-star
and
good
friend,
Sharad
Malhotra
was
not
far
behind.
He
took
to
Instagram
and
shared
how
much
he
will
miss
his
dear
friend
Kratika
on
the
show.
He
wrote,
"As
we
enter
a
new
phase...as
we
embark
on
a
new
journey...as
"kasam
tere
pyaar
ki"
takes
a
leap
of
faith...here's
a
last
RISHI
#
TANU
moment
for
all
tanshi
fans.
@kratikalove,
u
were
fantastic
and
fun
to
work
with...U'l
be
missed
by
one
and
all..Lotsa
love
n
luck...cheers."
As
Kratika
herself
said,
goodbyes
are
always
hard.
We
would
like
to
thank
Kratika
for
adding
life
to
the
character
of
'Tanu'.
Kratika,
you
will
surely
be
missed!
