Naagin: Show To Come To An End In May; Expect Season 2?

Colors TV's Naagin has taken the industry by storm and been successful in creating ripples in the audiences' mind. It is the highest rated show on the TRP charts. It has also gained a lot of popularity and fan following right from its inception.

We can only expect it to reach greater heights and become a trendsetter in the days to come. The show which stars Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani and Adaa Khan in the lead roles, is a finite series which is scheduled to end in a few months.

However, if speculations are to be believed, the channel has decided to give the show an extension because of its huge popularity. The show, earlier scheduled to end in March, will now go on till May.

But wait!! This is not it! We have some good news for the fans.

There is an exciting buzz of the makers, coming up with a Season 2. Yes, you got it correct! If sources are to be believed, the channel is already planning for the next season. And the lead will be played by the television hunk Gurmeet Choudhary. However, when contacted, Gurmeet said that the news is fake and he is not aware of any such advancements.

Not only Gurmeet, but also the channel spokesperson and the lead of the current season, Arjun Bijlani, remained unaware of the development. There is no update from the production house too!

The concept of naagins has been gaining popularity since last year with Sasural Simar Ka setting off the trend. Currently, Adhuri Kahani Humari, is also focussing on the 'icchadhari naagin' track.
