Apparently, eight men barged into Pratyusha's Kandivali residence, who were searching for her fiancé-actor Rahul Raj Singh. When the actress told them that he was not at home and asked them to show their identity cards, they failed to show it, and forcefully barged inside the house and misbehaved with her. These men left the place only when she threatened to approach police. Pratyusha also said that she had noted down their vehicle number and when she asked the two police (who arrived after calling up for help) about the number, they informed that the vehicle belonged to Kandivali police station
Also, the Balika Vadhu actress said that the police hesitated to file it and it took her three hours to convince the police to file the FIR since police themselves were also involved in it.
This was Pratyusha's version of story. But a police officer has some other story to say. He denied the allegation. He said that four policemen (in plain clothes) had been to Pratyusha's residence to find Rahul Singh, against whom a non-cognisable (NC) offence had been registered.
The officer also denied any misbehaviour. He added that when a loan recovery agent, Amit Dalvi went to collect the instalment of car loan at her house on December 31, Rahul had allegedly manhandled him.
On Sunday, along with Dalvi, some police personnel, went to the house but couldn't find him and so they again visited her house on Monday. But they were told by Pratyusha's mother that Rahul is in Goa.
Pratyusha and the police officer has their version of stories, while it has to be seen who is right. Stay locked to this space for further updates...
