PICS: Jodha Akbar Actor Rajat Tokas Is Back With A Bang As Chandragupta Maurya

The dashing Rajat Tokas is back with a bang in yet another historical-based show, Chandra Nandini. The actor will be seen playing the role of Chandragupta Maurya on the show.

We had recently reported about the first look of Shweta Basu on the show, Chandra Nandini. Now, Rajat's first look is revealed and believe us he looks hot and dashing!

In the promo, Rajat is seen showing off his chiselled body and biceps. He is later seen playing with the swords, and holding a chain. The background voice says, "Kaun tha woh samrat jisne apne dulhan ko uphar main diya. Aajeevan karavaas. Aaraha hai Chandragupt."

On the show, Shweta Basu will be seen playing the role of Princess Nandini. If reports are to be believed the show will be shot in real locations and not on cramped TV sets!

Shweta, who is active on social media, is keeping her fans updated by posting the pictures of the locations. It looks like the actress has also started promoting the show.

Rajat Tokas was last seen in Ekta Kapoor's show Naagin. He was seen playing a negative role -Nevla/Kabirl. He had ruled hearts with his role of Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar/Akbar from the show Jodha Akbar. Paridhi Sharma was seen as Jodha on the show and Rajat and Paridhi's jodi was loved by the audiences.

Now, Rajat is all set to impress the audiences as Chandragupta Mourya.

Chandra Nandini will go on air in the month of October. The show will be replacing Siya Ke Ram
