Drashti Dhami

Drashti Dhami, the popular TV actress, got hitched to her boyfriend and Mumbai based businessman, Neeraj Khemka, in a grand wedding at Mumbai on February 21st. Post marriage, Drashti made a comeback on the show, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, which is quite popular on ZEE TV.

Upen & Karishma

On the dance reality show, Nach Baliye 7, Upen went down on his knees to propose Karishma, in front of their families. They got engaged on the show and their marriage news is still doing the rounds.

Karan Patel, Ankita Bhargava, Kamya Punjabi

Karan's break-up with Kamya Punjabi and sudden marriage announcement with Ankita Bhargava shocked everybody. Apparently, Kamya caught Karan cheating on her, but Karan promised to mend his ways. Finally, Kamya called off the relationship and within few days, Karan came up with the announcement of his marriage with Ankita.

The actress who got instant fame with her role of Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi. She also participated in dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8. The actress' affair with Ishan Arya also made the headlines, as they were snapped together in an awards event.

Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar, who plays the role of Ragini in the Color's popular show Swaragini has become the favourite vamp. Earlier, there were news of Tejaswi quitting the show as she didn't like turning negative, but now the makers have been trying to make her role positive, and hence, not quitting the show!

Mrunal Thakur aka Bulbul from Kumkum Bhagya participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 7 with her boyfriend Sharad Chandra Tripathi. Recently, she quit Kumkum Bhagya. There were rumours of her doing the Bollywood film Sultan, opposite Salman Khan. It was also said that she was also offered Aamir Khan's Dangal. But the actress rubbished the rumours.

There were rumours of Kumkum Bhagya's Pragya (Sriti Jha) dating Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha actor Kunal Karan Kapoor. But, Kunal rubbished the rumours.

Karan Kundra is being linked with VJ Anusha Dandekar. The duo was spotted partying in Delhi, along with their friends, and recently they were caught kissing!

Divyanka Tripathi

In the first half of the year (2015), Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress, Divyanka Tripathi broke up with her long term boyfriend, Ssharad Malhotraa after being together for nine years. Few months back, there were also rumours of link-up with her co-star Vivek Dahiya, who plays the role of ACP Abhishek, but the actress rubbished the rumours.

Recently, Kapil was in news for the announcement of the last date of his popular show Comedy Nights With Kapil. There were also news of Kapil moving his show to Sony TV. But what made his fans annoy was his replacement rumours.

Salman-Shahrukh Khan came together on the biggest reality show Bigg Boss 9. SRK and Kajol were on Salman's Bigg Boss 9 to promote their film Dilwale. The trio had a blast, they recalled their Kuch Kuch Hota Hai days and also played a few games on the sets!

Parth Samthaan got into a serious controversy at the end of the year. There was a report of the WhatsApp group created for fun by the actor. The group was named by Parth as 'who#@s and more who#@s'. And the actor had added his friends (co-stars) in the group, where they discussed about women. Niti Taylor was upset with the the telephonic recordings.

Not only this, Parth has also sent a notice, accusing mentor Vikas Gupta of molestation, non-payment of dues for working on his show and constant threats of ruining his career. Vikas took to twitter to express his anger and his tweets said he was upset with Parth's move!

Sanjit Bedi, who played the role of Dr Omi in Sanjeevani, died on 24th June, 2015. The young and famous actor was suffering from a brain trauma and had been unwell for some time.

Saath Phere actor, Mohan Bhandari died on 24th September, 2015 after losing a long battle with a brain tumour.

Sudha Shivpuri, Saeed Jaffrey's Death

Television industry lost many talented actors this year. Sudha Shivpuri, popularly known as Baa from Kyonki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, passed away, on 20th May, 2015, early morning. Few reports suggested that the veteran actress suffered age-related illness.

The veteran actor, Saeed Jaffrey breathed his last at his residence in Mumbai, on 15th November, 2015. The actor was suffering from age-related ailments.

Aadesh Shrivastava’s Death

Composer, Music Director, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge judge Aadesh Shrivastava died of cancer on 5th September, 2015, a day after he turned 51. Aadesh was undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital.
