Shaheer Sheikh Aka Dev Dixit Reacts On His 'Devdas' Act In Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi!

Sony's Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is currently going through heartbreaking moments, between the leads, Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi. Dev and Sonakshi have broken up and Sonakshi's family have found a perfect match for her in Rithvik, a Bengali doctor.

Dev, is unable to move on post their break-up and is still haunted by Sona's memories. On the other hand, Sona is unable to forget Dev as well. We had earlier reported about the new engagement promo. Dev, in an inebriated state would reach Sona and Rithvik's engagement.

Will he create a huge scene during the engagement party? Well, that is to be watched out for.

As of now, we would like throw light upon Dev aka Shaheer's 'Devdas' act in the show! Dev is shown to be drinking a lot these days, post breaking up with his ladylove.

During an interview, Shaheer opened up about his drunken act on-screen. You will be surprised to know that the actor is a teetotaller in real life, yet he has managed to grab eyeballs for his 'Devdas' act.

The actor said, "Shooting the drunk scenes for the was fun. I have never been drunk in my life, so honestly I don't know how it is that one feels when they are high but I have seen my friends being drunk."

He added, "Shooting drunk scenes is definitely one of the most difficult sequences for me as I had to ensure that it doesn't look fake."

He even said that, the movie 'Devdas' is one of his favourites and extremely close to his heart. Apparently, he likes the name 'Dev' a lot!

The actor confessed that he drew inspiration from his friend, who went through a similar heartbreak in his life, while enacting the drunk scenes. All he wants is, that the audience should be able to relate to the character.
