Apparently, the makers of Star Plus' mythological show, Siya Ke Ram have ordered 100 kg of marigold. Wondering, why?
Well, a few of them must have guessed it right! It is for the royal wedding of Ram (Ashish Sharma) and Sita (Madirakshi Mundle). The makers are leaving no stones unturned to give an authentic look to an upcoming grand wedding sequence.
According to the sources, the entire atmosphere on the sets (Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad), is extremely joyous. And the entire crew, who have been working hard in decorating the sets to make it look royal, are also excited about the wedding sequence.
"It all started from this very wedding. Sita and Ram's wedding was when these wedding festivities came into existence. The makers have planned a beautiful on-air campaign wherein with every festivity, they will be showcasing the importance of the ritual be it haldi ceremony or sindoor (vermillion) or varmala (garland) exchange between the bride and the groom."
"The makers have ordered marigold and rose flowers all the way from Mithila. Not everyone knows why marigold is the one flower majorly used in wedding ceremonies," Bhargavi Chirmule, who plays the role of Sita's mother (Sunaina) was quoted by IANS as saying.
Siya Ke Ram is directed by Nikhil Sinha under the banner Triangle Films. The show also features Karthik Jayaram (who plays the role of Raavan), Karan Suchak (who plays Lakshmana), Dalip Tahil (seen as Dasharatha), Sujay Reu (plays the role of Bharata) and others in the lead roles.
