The
New
Year
brought
with
it
a
stupendous
volley
of
controversies
in
the
entertainment
industry,
right
from
the
Parth
Samthaan
-
Vikas
Gupta
controversy,
to
the
molestation
stories
of
Pratyusha
Banerjee
and
Ratan
Rajput.
Now,
we
hear
another
case
joined
in
the
list.
Sudhansu
Pandey,
who
plays
Keechak
in
Chakravartin
Ashok
Samrat'
had
filed
charges
of
theft
and
fraud
against
the
film-makers,
Rakesh
Roshan
and
Sanjay
Gupta.
He
alleged
them
of
stealing
his
script
of
a
love
story-cum-revenge
drama.
A
source
revealed,
"Rakesh
Roshan
has
got
in
touch
with
his
lawyers
on
advice
of
filing
the
defamation
suit.
He
is
no
mood
to
remain
mum
over
the
allegations
which
threaten
to
tarnish
his
name
and
image
in
the
industry."
Rakesh
Roshan
also
plans
to
seek
from
Sudhanshu,
a
sum
of
rupees
50
Crores.
Sudhanshu
and
Sanjay
Gupta
had
agreed
to
co-produce
and
direct
Sudhanshu's
script,
back
in
May.
And
if
reports
are
to
be
believed,
after
one
script
reading
session,
Hrithik
also
agreed
on
the
project,
but
wanted
Rakesh
Roshan
to
check
it
once.
Rakesh
Roshan
later
on
offered
to
present
and
produce
the
movie
under
his
banner,
Filmkraft
Productions.
Sudhanshu
had
met
Rakesh
and
Sanjay
in
October
and
was
offered
2
%
of
the
profits
and
the
credit
as
an
associate
producer.
But
the
offer
didn't
mention
any
pay
towards
the
story,
screenplay
and
dialogues.
On
being
contacted,
Rakesh
confirmed
the
filing
of
suit
saying,
"Yes,
I
am
filing
a
criminal
defamation
suit
against
him.
That's
all
I
can
say
for
now."
Sudhansu
remained
unavailable
for
any
comments.
Let
us
hope
things
get
okay
between
all
the
stars
and
they
continue
shining
as
before!
