What!! Swaragini Actress Roop Durgapal Is Married!

Not many know that Roop Durgapal, who got famous with her roles in the show Balika Vadhu (played the role of Sanchi Vivek Kabra) and Swaragini (was seen as Kavya Malhotra), is married to Deepak N, a creative director in a sports channel.

The actress, who is now seen on the show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi as Natasha Gujral, has always kept her personal life under wraps. The actress was quoted by IANS as saying, "Well, that is because I was very clear from the start that the talking point should always be my work and my private life should be kept separate from my professional life."

She added, "Certainly there is romance in my life as I am happily married and people close to me know about it. But I don't feel the need to shout about it from the rooftop as we both are very private people."

Now, many must be thinking, why the actress was mum for long and revealed about her marriage now? She has the answer for this...

Roop was quoted by an entertainment website as saying, "We both are very shy and like to keep our private lives separate from professional lives, so we never felt the need to disclose it earlier. However, since sometime, lots of people have been asking me, including the fans. So I feel this is the right time they should know about it."

The actress said that it was an arranged marriage. The dated for a while before getting hitched.
