Colors' popular show Swaragini went off air recently. The cast of the show got emotional as they bid goodbye to each other! One of the lead actors of the show Shalini Kapoor, who played the role of Annapoorna on the show, organised a reunion party for her co-actors.
Helly Shah, Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar, Sonica Handa, Tarun Singh, Amar Sharma, Alka Kaushal and others were present at the party. The lead actors Namish Taneja and Varun Kapoor were missing from the party. Check out the reunion party pictures....
Helly Shah
Sharing a picture, Helly Shah wrote, "The Reunion' ☺️☺️💃🏻 Thank u Shalu dii for such a warm get together 😘 Had a great time ❤️ Love u all 😘❤️ P.S - U were looking sooo sooo cute in those two braids and kaushuji in the spex 😘 Muaaaaaaaahhhh 😘☺️."
Tarun Singh
Sharing a picture, Tarun Singh wrote, "And we meet again. @shalinikapoorsagar plays the perfect host, we sing and laugh and drink and eat, and everything else a #happyfamily does :)."

Sonica also shared a few pictures from the reunion party. Previously, Sonica had thanked her fans for the love. She wrote, "Swaragini serial will always be close to my heart..thanks friends n fans for showering love n appreciation to us."

Sonica and other co-actors shared a strong bond. Almost all the actors were active on social media and they kept their audiences updated with the pictures or video clippings.
Amar Sharma
Amar Sharma, who played the role of Ram (Sanskar's father) on the show, also shared a few reunion party pictures. Amar shared a picture snapped with Helly, and others and wrote, "😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝."
Namish Was Not Seen At The Reunion
Namish, who was not present in the reunion party, had said that he is not upset with the show going off air. He was quoted as saying, "I am really not upset because I was not there in the show for two to three months and my entry was not according to the plan. I am not upset."

He further added, "I have a feeling ‘as you sow, so you reap.' My point is, the story line was deteriorated. They too took some wrong decisions and hence the result is before you. Let's hope this does not get repeated."
Varun Was Not Present At The Reunion Party!
On the other hand, Varun Kapoor, who played the role of Sanskar, was happy, content and satisfied being part of Swaragini.

He further added, "However, we never thought that the show will go off air so soon. I am happy, content and satisfied. Pulling the show off air is not my decision and is not in my hands. The decision has been taken by the people sitting above us, but I have no complaints when it comes to the show or my character."
Swaragini was premiered on March 2, 2015. The show dealt with the story of two sisters Swara and Ragini. The show went off air on December 16, 2016.
The final episode showed how Swara and Ragini along with their husbands Sanskar and Lakshya, respectively, fought their final battle with Nikhil and Mansi. It was a happy ending as Swara-Sanskar and Ragini-Lakshya were reunited.
Like other shows, Swaragini also went through ups and downs. Initially, Tejaswi was upset as her role turned negative. She had also planned to quit the show, but the viewers' demand made the makers change their mind and Ragini was back in her positive character.
Later, there were also reports that Namish Taneja, who played the role of Lakshya was upset with the way his character was shaping up. He had also planned to quit the show, but was brought back to the show with a new look - Abhimanyu.
A couple of months ago, it was said that the show would go off air, leaving the slot for Bigg Boss 10. But, the fans requested the makers to not to end the show. As a result, the show was extended, by bringing interesting twists. But, due to low TRP, the makers decided to end the show.
Well, we hope the actors come together again with another brand new show, as we will definitely miss them a lot!
